Yesterday when a former employee brought up some liberal crap that was meant to look bad upon President elect Trump, and I spoke of Elizabeth warren, and jokingly called her Pocahontas(the Disney make believe character), I was instantly called a racist.

I asked if I would have called her Pinocchio would that also have made me racist, cause he is just a cartoon fictional character as well, he said no that makes me prejudice.

So having a sense of humor, joking around, and having a spirited conversation is no longer just that.

It puts a label on me, one I don't really think I have earned, nor do I care to be placed in this category.

do you guys have any of these types of situations arise? Is sarcasm, humor, and a bit of joking around racist? If I was black and said the same thing is that racist? The kid is a real tool, so I wouldn't expect any less, but being called racist pisses me off.

I wonder if people actually realize majority of peoples opinions on others who are different than themselves would be better defined as prejudice; unreasonable feelings, opinions, or attitudes, especially of a hostile nature, regarding an ethnic, racial, social, or religious group. rather than racist;a belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race.
So looking at the two words. reading the definition of these words you realize most people don't think that they are a superior race.
Rather we look at a certain group of people that are doing something that we see as not liking either first hand, in a book, or on some social media, which we base our own opinions on those certain types of people,
Prejudice is based on a dislike of a certain individual's preference as to where they live, who they marry, their last names, the clothes they wear, or the color of their skin.
So to me the biggest cause for being prejudice against others which has more do than color and that color is not black,white,red,yellow but GREEN MONEY the almighty dollar.
Which comes down to classification of wealth

Natives are extremely racist against blacks for the most part. I find that so unbelievable.
