It rained hard for a bit last night in Yates. I had to move my gauge as my yard is dug up. Not an accurate read but I'm betting we got at least a half of not 1 inch.
I use NDAWN because they have a station close to where I do some food plot planting, but if you haven’t done so check out the Farm Logs website and app. You can set up whichever areas for which you want data and it is surprisingly accurate when compared to rain gauge readings and my actual observations. I have perimeters set up for my yard at home, my cabin, my food plots, some of my fields, etc. and the basic package is free.
Gettin' a reeeeal nice soak this AM in Fargo. Slow, steady rain. My yard is actually getting green again. Who knows, might need to mow before too long!
Wind was a bitch yesterday. Really tore up my garden, glad we canned corn last Saturday. Not one apple left on our tree's. Even blew tomato's off the plants. LB
We got at least another inch in Mobridge last night. There is water actually puddled up. It’s amazing how green it has got. Talked to a farmer yesterday and he was surprised how well his beans and corn are this year.
