Check out The Mattress Factory in Grand Forks. I think they market under the name Restonic. They are made by Stevens Mattress Company right in Grand Forks. Sometimes they have some factory defects that happen when the stitching in the quilting on the top is not quite perfect and they will sell those at a deep discount. We have 4 beds in the house that have all came from there. Been happy with the service.

sorry bout the hijack, but does anyone know if you can put these better mattresses on one of the folding frames???

my old recliner broke - i'm sleeping in a new one, and in a bad way right now... gotta try something different...

yes, I believe you can add the recliner controls to just about any mattress I think it probably starts at about $500 depending on what type of controls you want

Unfortunately a good mattress is going to you a grand at the bare minimium, especially for a king, might be able to find a good queen for less than a grand but that’s pushing it…problem is a few years back government added some fire retardant requirements to mattresses and the big name manufactures were pissed and added a ton of cost to their product…when really for the most part it’s a lesser quality then it used to be…yes the product and concepts are better but the materials are crap…and really only designed to last 5ish years….

I miss my old water bed but there was a time when I moved 3 times in 5 years and draining that thing was a bitch. I now have a Sam's Club Serta with a 4" foam topper that works for me.
And "ditto" on that dweeb from America's mattress. I would never darken his door.

Memory Foam

We bought a memory foam Sealy at the time was a knock off of the Tempur-Pedic. I did a lot of research and one of the big items was being to hot. The trick there is to buy the best Tmepur-Pedic mattress pad "advice from the salesman". There are different thickness mattresses which are different in firmness. Some places will let you try them out and give your money back and some will just give you in store credit if you don't like it. We love it. Also wait until the lights go out and you know what time it is, you'll never go back a old spring mattress. You bounce across the top anymore.

That's the Tempurpedic Angel of Good Sleep.

I love my sweet sweet angel.

old skaters know a thing or two about sore bodies

Love ours. Would buy another. Expensive BUT between the mattress and an inversion table I have NOT been back to a chiropractor since the purchases 5 or so years ago.

My recommendation is buy a double. I have found that anything larger than a double just gives "her" more room, as she will hog more of it than you.
