Bummer, I was kind of hoping he had just retired from the interweb to spend his days fishing in the Ozarks. RIP Mauser.

I communicated privately thru pms a couple of times. When he found out our daughter and family were moving to KC he sent me his phone number and said if he could be of any help he would sure try. Nice gesture! Rest in Peace.

Thanks for the update, Fritz.

thanks for posting that fritz, talked with him a few times. He was a tough old bird that had many life experiences that others knew little about.

RIP

That guy Dewey could take any bland story and make it hilarious. He used to be part owner in a feedlot in Nebraska. The cattle market was very iffy. An old buyer stopped by and made an offer. Dewey figured the buyer low balled him so he told him, "before he would sell for that price he would eat every one of those sons-a-bitches with a loaf of bread."

The market turned ugly into a blood letting. One day Dewey was in a bad mood feeding those over weight fats some high priced feed. Dewey said a Cadillac with long horns on the hood drove in and that fat old cattle buyer threw a loaf of bread out the window. Dewey said at least that mofo knew enough to keep the motor running.

Dewey cracked me up.

Always enjoyed his inputs and PM's about his namesake. Wish he would've continued posting. God bless Dewey.
