River Today

So did any of you boys have plans to fish the River around Bismarck, if so you probably had a surprise if you went down to the dock. I would guess 25-50% ice flow coverage on the River and a good chance to put those Frogger video skills to work from years ago. Probably over some of your heads but oh well. Mother Nature still letting us know its early in year yet. The picture was about noon today.

friend texted me telling me that the river iced over. I didn't believe him so I took the long way to work to see if for myself.

13 degrees this morning. I don’t think it was above freezing yesterday.

should be gone today. I looked yesterday evening at Fox, and Grant Marsh. Also called a friend who lives north of town, and there was ice. I wouldn't have believed it.

Sugarloaf. It was mostly slush. Looked much worse than it was.
