Two guides on my G Loomis NRX casting rod broke off, a couple days apart. I submitted a warranty claim, but it looks like it's going to cost about $50 to ship it to them, and then I don't know that they'll actually fix it under warranty.
I'm not afraid to DIY just about anything. For those that have done it, is it all that difficult to replace a guide? Do you have a preferred source for getting decent guides?
