Two guides on my G Loomis NRX casting rod broke off, a couple days apart. I submitted a warranty claim, but it looks like it's going to cost about $50 to ship it to them, and then I don't know that they'll actually fix it under warranty.
I'm not afraid to DIY just about anything. For those that have done it, is it all that difficult to replace a guide? Do you have a preferred source for getting decent guides?

It is fairly easy. I have replaced many. I purchase my supplies from mudholefishing.com. There are a ton of youtube videos to walk you through the process.

I just had my buddy Auggie fix mine last week, he did an awesome job.
We are in Western ND, and not sure if he does this on the side, or was just helping me out.
