[h=1]Runoff plunges again[/h][h=3]Mountain snowpack quite low. Don't look for any rise in Lake Sakakawea this spring and summer. The massive reservoir with more shoreline than California is projected to come up maybe six inches from what it is now. Even that slight amount is subject to revision in the weeks ahead in what has become one of the driest winters on record throughout the Yellowstone and Missouri River regions.[/h]

let me guess barge traffic down south will be through the roof though

Its all that dame fertilizer coming up the river by barge.;:;rofl I can say that because we have 2 - 65 car unit trains coming out of Galveston, and 1 - 65 car unit train coming from Florida this spring.

Could make for some very tough paddlefishing. High water does not usually equal high success in ND.
