Welcome Duze,

From what I've heard it definitely wont be going down anytime soon. Runoff from MT is still coming in strong. The river is running fast but not fast enough. I'd expect high water most of the year.

Yeah let's hope it don't go up another 2-3' I might be screwed.. On the plus side, got the boat out yesterday and it's ready to do some fishing later this week.. Thanks for the feedback.

Todays inflows are running 100,000 cfs and releasing 39,900. The lake has been rising anywhere from .2 to .5 feet per day and this doesn't account for any of the rains Montana or NW ND had last week.

I just came back from Livingston. Brace yourselves, there is a ton more water coming down the pipe. On the way there every creek and river was flooding, while there they got several more inches of rain throughout the whole area in just 2 days. The inflows to the lake will be higher than they can release for a long time yet I think.

If the inflows keep where they are at and the corp doesn't increase outflows the lake will top out at 1854 in about 10 to 15 days. With the recent rains they have no choice but to crank up the discharge at garrison but to what 50,000, 60,000, 70,000 or maybe more but you can count on the river to be roaring all summer

Not to be a Debbie Downer but there is about a 99.9% chance the lake rises another 2-3’ or more yet. I’d be moving camp this weekend if I was you.
