used to have Korean neighbor trade me all you can eat kimchi for deer meat. Sad they moved. Where's a good place to find retail?

Shouldn't be real hard to find on the shelves in minot. I think we might even have it in devils lake. Fairly common in the bigger cities and grocery stores

The truffles I like are chocolate and pair well with BV cab.

Personally, my breakfast of choice is a crisp, buttered waffle slathered with pure maple syrup and two medium eggs on top!!!

For 4 or 5 years in the mid 2000's we had access to the Georges de Latour vineyard right across highway 29 from BV's winery in Rutherford, CA. BV contracts all of de Latour's vineyards. John's stepdaughter worked for Walter de Latour. We made 2+ barrels from their vineyard each year and it was/is great wine. If you ever get the opportunity to buy a bottle (and can afford it) of BV Georges de Latour Private Reserve Cab, it's worth the price!

My pickup full of G de L cabernet sauvignon grapes with cab franc grapes in the barrels to blend with the cab:

I turned a hundred grand on that trip!

Backed up and ready to crush:

More cab franc for blending:

The winery where we age/oak the wine:

Just had my first experience with truffle salt on some fries down in San Diego. I will be ordering some when we get home. Wife didn't know what a truffle was and thought it was good until I told her where it came from.
