A 15 inch 2 lber vs a 13.5 inch 2lber would look much smaller. That Veronica vaughn is one hot piece of ace, i know from experience dude.

I disagree. I think the 15" would not "look much smaller" than a fatter 13.5" of same weight.

It would be very interesting to find a similar mount of each and have people estimate the weight of the two fish.

I won it last year... 20-something ounces?

I sure would mount a hog bullhead!

Example:

But I hear the catfish specie are a drag to mount - not?

I think you have to do a replica mount with them, Same for paddlefish. I heard of a guy that takes the fish and puts them in plaster to make a mold and goes from there. sounds like a lot of work but if you wanted a kitty fish mount.....

Are you sniffing paint thinner with johnr? That perch comment is really a mind blower haha. Lets say u go to a lake that has perch that weigh 2 lbs at 15 inches and then you go to a different lake with perch that are 2.75 lb at 15 inches and 2 lbs at 13.5 inches. The 15 inch 2 lber will look like a minnow in comparison.

I think enslow is picking on me, this must be controlled. I feel confused and lonely now. If only the goberment could handle this for me. Restriction of speech is necessary for the good of us all, #bantheoffensivenessnow. :::

I have a 10.2 walleye on the wall 1st over 10 that I caught from lunds landing in late feb. back in the 90's, 2sided 26" on a diorama which I mounted because it was basically the last time my dad fished, along with a 8.7 that he caught that day. I also have a 22.0 northern the wife caught , 3 perch 15" on a diorama. now I'm looking for a walleye over 14' caught in ND

I have a 30" eye at the taxidermist thats been there since May of last year, only weighted 8.6 lbs :( because she was already spawned out. Caught her shore fishing Audubon May 5th on a husky jerk.

Whats this? the number of sub sandwiches your avatar ate this morning?

Weight in lbs of a walleye Id consider mounting, which is easy to remember because it just happens to match the length of my C0CK in inches.... :;:thumbsup

I released a 12 lber and mounted an 11 1/2 lber this last year because of where and how it was caught.
