Smartcraft guages

I was wondering if anyone has used the mercury smartcraft guages. The thing that intrigues me about them is the trolling feature. I don't have a kicker motor on my boat and was wondering if this would let my motor troll down low enuf to troll cranks. Right now my boat will troll down to 2.8-3.2 mph.I have a 2014 stratos 386xf with a mercury 4 stroke 150. Thanks for your help.

I'm assuming you are referring to Mercury SmartCraft series gauges? Those are their gauges with digital displays on them. I have no first hand experience with them but found a good video on YouTube showing a Merc 150 with the a SmartCraft gauge with the troll feature. According to the information posted in the video, the engines idle at 650 RPM and can go as low as 550 RPM with the trolling feature. It appears to be a SC1000 model gauge. Here is the video:

Yes that's it. Was wondering if anyone has first hand experience with these guages.
