It might very well be satire, but unfortunately it's not very far from how some college graduates think these days. We don't see as much of it in the midwest but spend some time on the east or west coast and you will hear comments very similar.

Sounds about right. You'd be amazed(or maybe you wouldn't) about how many I've seen have a meltdown if they are scheduled to work on their birthday. Now it's becoming a "birthday weekend" and even "birthday week". Then when the time comes, the request to borrow money.

Thank God its satire, I still have hope.
Don't get your hopes up to fast. I back in the 1980's having people working with me that just got out of college and they could not understand why someone with 30 years experience was paid more than them. They also couldn't understand why they didn't start with two weeks sick leave and two weeks annual leave and had to wait to get four hours leave per two week period. They thought it should come first. When Bush run the first time and had a tv debate I thought some working with me out of state were going to go nuts. It was white jacket with sleeves that tie in the back time. I heard words I did not know the meaning of.

The company president had to step in and outlaw news channels in the lobby and break rooms at work after Trump won the last election. People with tremendous talent and potential turned into a bunch of children throwing tantrums. At work. Where we do business. Before you say anything positive about the POTUS you have to look over both shoulders first like you're about to tell a dirty joke.

Yup! We have created a nation of SORE LOSERS. They want a "do over". The "participation trophy" started it all.

I think you and I should get together and tell stories. I'll bet we would both go away scratching our head. Even though I only have maybe one drink a month we may have to have a designated driver.
