Lyc - I would too - watering trees is for the birds

- - - Updated - - -

Beautiful mon-Friday at noon, then cold and wind driven until 8 am every Monday all summer long

Ba ha ha

hey - rejoice - there's a 50/50 chance that science is FOS

BTW - what does your greasy western hillbilly bible (Farmer's Almanac) predict?

Gaahh, I always forget! Using the term "greasy" (you gotta pronounce the S as a Z) is the ultimate smackdown. You can add it to anything half-assed slap in the face. "Hey, you greasy felon, move away!".

Well we sold the jet ski this weekend. Kids seemed to be done with it, and I am for sure tired of buying the gas, and replacing impellers once a season.
I never did ride it, feared falling off and not being able to pull myself back onto it, and made an oath to never be that guy.
Close to 4 seasons of fun. Actually feels good to have one less thing to insure, fix, and store.

But…. those things are a hoot to ride after a few bottles of courage. And you ride a motorcycle.

Something does not compute. I always pictured you as an action sport type of guy.

Ugh… another hero lost.
I am stubborn like a pickle jar lid. I was not going to ride it.

I have no regrets. Riding the bike is Fonzie like, jet ski riding is not.

The late Tina Turner would propose that we don’t need another hero….

Two happiest days of owning a Sea-Doo, the day you get them and the day you get rid of them. Sold ours two years ago and haven't missed them at all. They were a hoot to fish off of though.

Even Fonzie jumped the shark and it wasn't on a motorcycle

This jumped to the top and started me at the beginning...even threw a couple "likes" around at old posts before I realized what was going on. 🤣

Have had mine for more than 10 years. No problems, gas is the only thing I've ever had to replace and an oil change every other year. Bought it for the grandkids and they have run it pretty good.

I agree that they can be a pita. That is until you get on one and then they're a hell of a lot of fun. One thing I do recommend is I always wear sunglasses while riding. A bug in the eye at 70mph hurts.
