Do you know the stage of the spawning cycle walleye on Sak are in?

Was on Sak yesterday afternoon...Garrison Bay area-water temps between 39 - 43. Be surprised if they have spawned yet - looking at the crappy temps forecast for this week, temps are not gonna climb much.

The pike just spawned, walleye will be another week or two.

39 in Newtown area yesterday.

Not close to spawn yet. The majority of the fish are still on main lake structure. Historically majority of walleye spawn on Sak happens from May 10 through the end of May. I have caught female walleye on memorial day weekend full of eggs yet and I have caught males in early June milking still.
