Yup, my buggy is covered in shit nowNot sure but I think the robins that came back already are pissed!
aren't you worried about burning the paint on you powered buggy?Sap really took off again. Have to boil off a 120 qt cooler full this time.
Added a siphon between pans and a kludged pre-heater to help me maintain a rolling boil to beat the coming storm (7-12” forecast for little minneapolis tonight).

they sell walleye at the store tooEven if syrup was a life line for me, not sure I would go through all of that to ready it.
Its like my buddy Clint, who is worth millions, but was not willing to purchase a prebuilt "ice castle", so he went out and purchased an aluminum welder, all the tools to work this aluminum frame he was going to build it out of, the drop axle, then tearing apart an old camper to get the stove, heater, and water heater out of it, the entire winter into the spring working on it. All said and done he had 400 hours, and $40,000 grand of equipment and parts to build it.
2 seasons later he parked the homemade fish house at his storage facility and purchased the ice castle he was wanting in the first place.
He does of course still have the welder, and all the tools, so the investment wasn't a total loss...
