Well they are pilled up in Nebraska and starting to hit the southern part of Sodak around yankton. Seeing how the snow line is I think the first week of April they will be in my area and with the amount of snow north and east we might get them hanging around for a bit. should have some sheet water this year.

Think of digging the trailer out a snow drift and heading south the first week of April.. Much for sheet water around? I might toss the floater spread in also

I had a flock of about 15 honkers eating out in the field across from the house yesterday up here by Stanley ND... really made me hopeful that spring might actually show up sometime soon.

They just may end up breeding in SD this year if we keep getting snow.

Going to be about 3 weeks before ND sees any. I think they will follow the river this year

See alot of canadian geese in central ND. Right with weather coming in next week might keep them more south. If they do come this way good luck finding food

I heard geese yesterday running the dog in Bismarck. Could have been those that inhabit the river or just the dumb ones.

There were a decent few birds around chamberlain this last weekend while fishing. But a bunch of snow coming to that area and a solid snow line north. Once spring finally comes they’re going to go in a hurry!

Actually, it's open all the way down to about 12 miles north of Bismarck as of yesterday. Could have used a little bit of sunlight this afternoon. I'm guessing the river will be open in Bismarck come Monday'ish.
