Spring Snows 2023

Not much down here really spotty also with small groups intermixed with specks and honkers its a weird year i thought we would be covered up. Couldnt go on sunday but buddies went out and they got 21 not a bad morning

Been tuff, as mentioned above mixture of all and alot just flying over got some Saturday and Sunday.

Have only seen a few flying over the North Central part. Heard some sandhill cranes the other day.

saw two big feeds of sandhills on saturday a couple thousand in each field .

Big snow storm coming north of minot and in canada, so they might come back.

Seen a ton of geese flying over Jamestown yesterday. 100s of millions of them. Lol

Wife called home after she got to work, mad as hell seems geese shit all over her car about the Walcott exit on interstate 29. Said the sky was black with them. LB

Cranes are coming over in big numbers today

Did some looking this weekend up north by border. Couldn't find a flock. Not sure if they're still south or if they blew through at nights. Fewest number of spring migrants I've even seen flying in probably 20 years

Well heading out thursday for 3 days, not sure where to start looking.

I was outside for 6 hours today north of Minot today. 0 geese not even a honker. Lots of ducks tho.

this afternoon there was a flock of snows and blues just 2 miles north of kramer, about 150 , setting in a feild right next to the hiway

buddies got into a pocket the last three days. 100, 234 and 215 and the next day they were gone
