Today I fished the confluence for the first time ever. Wow, what an expirence! As someone who’s only ever been on the big water, this was another world.

Anywho, I’m glad I did but I’ll never do it again...in my boat. Lol

The current was so strong tht it made loading a real challenge. Upon landing the boat, I bent one of the bunk guides on the side of the trailer.

Anyone had lunch straightening them? I don’t have a lot of tools, so I’m wondering if anyone has had a dealer do this. They are welded to the trailer.

Thanks

Remove them. If possible try to angle the trailer down current so when loading your driving more into the current rather than it pushing you sideways.

Talk to a welder that has experience with acetylene torch heating with a rosebud. Should be able to pull it straight after some heat is applied or worse scenario is cut it off and redo to specification and reweld. Just my 2cents.
