I've recommended these by PM to a few and thought I'd share with the lot. I've read both AT LEAST ten times over the years and always feel a slight bit of sadness at the turn of the last page. Incredible writing which puts you on scene and removes this world. Just finished the F&S again last night and thought worthy of a fine new thread to degenerate into talk of defecation and penises:

No, not even close. Fiction that loosely follows the history of gun control in America. The last ~50 pages get a little far-fetched/out-there but the rest of the book is well worth the read.

I appreciate your efforts 7mag, its to bad some guys have to be all clowning around on your book club page.

I read GWB's book last year in my old office, just to stick it to the liberal queen that sat upstairs praising the current administration as the best we have ever had. She lectured me on my choice in books...haha.
The book was not that great, but the fun I had reading it was a peach
