Oh man 100% agree! The memory that I think of often is as a Dad walking into the house after working all day. And the kids come running up to you like your a super hero and wrap there arms around you. And say I missed you.
Them were the days.
Whats the pedigree of your dog...interested. Im working a new female right now. Most loaded ped I've had....75% are FCs. However, she's very soft. Almost too soft. Having my struggles. But...she is a bird maniac! This dog has made me friends from one side of the country to the other. Gotten me invited places i never thought i would go to. He has accomplished levels I never thought we would get to and heading to Tennessee in October to run the Grand with 1000 other dogs and opportunity to train with some of the best in the country.

Really not much I didn’t really know pedigrees when I got him. He has a great grand sire that was a mh and a few generations back from that was fc afc black water Rudy. He is the highest tilted dog for three generations. He is softish with his quirks he does not forget if you make a correction at the wrong time. I’m an absolute pedigree nerd now always looking getting an other pup in a year or so. Who is yours out of?Whats the pedigree of your dog...interested. Im working a new female right now. Awesome!! Yeah that clip was pretty amazing. Just seeing that little guy light up was pretty cool! Glad your grandsons had the same experience! Technology can be amazing in good ways! This, both our grandsons were born profoundly deaf. Thanks to the U. of Mn hospital they were fitted with cochlear implants when only a few months old.
We were able to be present when the devices were activated, the look was as in that clip. Absolutely
one of the most amazing things I've ever experienced.
I once did a "ten" @50 using one of Grandma's patio/old dining room chairs for a rest after the scope fell off the gun in the woods. IDK/it happened: Dad and my uncle thought it amusing to distract me during the session; which was only intended for "three" after the scope remount: .45 hole/10 shots: Winchester T-22s; dirty as hell and accurate as hell at the time: 1 click left, probably unnecessary: Should've left that 4x/Tasco air gun scope on the rifle...I miss the parallax adjustment more than I like the the current 3X9 option available with this Redfield."A one hole group"!! Those seconds checking the back stop for the flyer suck until you realize whabullt happened. What did I do turns in to Look what I did pretty quick.![]()
My male has an impressive pedigree with a dog name Robby as his sire. He is gmpr etc whatever you call that and a MH. And in the bird dog hall of fame. Other notables are the Rooster smasher, Raider, Snapper, Blackwater Rudy to name a few. I shoulda had a pro take him. He will pass any test I'm certain of it. Just an unreal dog. Shoulda had a better trainer. All he lives for. He blew through a mock Sr level test about two yrs ago my my training. Now I just hunt him. My young pup sire is Hank from Chasing the Gold Kennels in Mn. Check him out. Hes quite impressive. Once i get her trained where I want her and hunt her to prove shes good and get health clearances done I may have a litter with these two. Think nice cross.Really not much I didn’t really know pedigrees when I got him. He has a great grand sire that was a mh and a few generations back from that was fc afc black water Rudy. Nice pedigree on Hank. Grady dogs seem to be really good. It’s wild he won the nafc after having part of his lung removed from getting infected by a seed. Code blue is another one of the greats a hall of fame dog have heard stories about him.
