Holy cow. Saw a wall of brown clouds coming in, realized quickly it was dust, not clouds. It was sunny and 93 degrees 20 minutes before. Tethered down everything we couldn't get in the garage.

Read the forecast before hunting. They nailed it on the wind starting at noon. Noon bell rang and I was walking at a 45 degree angle back to the pickup.

Best wind forecast app Ive seen is IWindsurf it for sailors but lots of fishermen use it...usually pretty right on for 24hr forecast. Suppose to pick up again at 1 am....

Weather underground has an hour by hour forecast and it is usually pretty accurate within 36-48 hours prior, they tend to hit the wind the closest within an hour or two.

Yes agree KDM but my experience was Desert Storm in Saudi Arabia, wonder how many on here even know or remember that one. Opps dating myself, Opps again that statement could get me a response from SVNMAG.

I use IWIND SURF myself also and they did nail it on the head, out in the boat when the wind hit , got off just before the 3ft plus rollers at gun range dock and helped another boat in the 3 ftr's, nasty and interesting
