This Weekend - Fishing Plans

I'm fishing Sak Tuesday-Friday then back to work Saturday and that's fine by me #$%^&>.
Fishing was great yesterday "what a beautiful day to be on the water", crazy how many folks were out for a Tuesday. Parking lots were over flowing at the ramps, can't even imagine what weekends are like.
Congrats slugo, we celebrated our 25th this week as well. :;:cheers

I know the feeling --- but to be real honest in North Dakota --- the fishing starts getting good on the 4th. I have said this before --- the more empty the lots in august the better. You have the what i call the "opening season fishermen". They dress in all that high priced garb for rain and cold. They post the lone fish they caught on facebook --- They freeze der aazzz off and do they enjoy it --- must not because you dont see em in august -- they are in bitching about how hot it is and talkin about ice fishing. Meanwhile - i am in my flip flops - shorts --- cold beer in my hand and a fishing rod in the other. Life dont get any better.

I am going up to devils friday am. kids are comijng up on saturday. --- planning on fishing most days. Hitting proz, daughter has a b-day - hitting rranchhouse. I am just looking foward to getting some time off. I have had maybe a day or two off on the weekends since Jan 1. did the mem day monday night

For crying out loud, I'm with Tikka, you people need to find 'real' jobs and work once in your life....he he he...just kidding..first lake holiday is always a circus. Not sure what I'm doing yet.....By all means enjoy and take a moment of remembrance to all that have fallen.

Getting out on a little MN lake that can only be accessed by canoe for our annual bass-a-palooza beat down with one of my best buddies.

Where were you at that the ramps were full, up north? I drove through Beaver, Beulah, and Hazen and it was pretty dead Tuesday.

With the heat forecasted this weekend, the lake is going to be a busy place for recreators of all kinds. In between fishing sessions, I may sit back on the proz patio at the cove, kids can hit the beach, and I can laugh at people trying to launch their boat. It's always good for a couple hours of entertainment.

Mobridge forcast for Saturday is 94!!! This may be the warmest MM day weekend I ever remember. I've camped MM day almost every year since 76. There have been some crap weekends, and I mean crap. A lot of them we primitive camped in tents by the water. And to think a month ago it was almost still winter. Another 3 week spring in ND
