I like to watch the games to get a feel for how the rookies are going to impact a team. I've gotten a couple big steals in my fantasy leagues from big-time rookies that were drafted in later rounds.

Every year I find myself watching more college football, I get so sick of all the drama in the NFL!

Depressing that we are in the final stretch of summer. The sun is setting earlier, the grass is browning out, kids are going back to school in a few weeks, and soon there will be a fall bite in the air. Wasn't a bad summer, temps were relatively mild, the lake thawed a couple weeks earlier than normal, and I've hit the water all but maybe one weekend since April. Hopefully the Vikings at least put a competitive product on the field, otherwise it is time for spielman to take a hike.

I kinda like the preseason to watch the long shots go all out for a roster spot. For the most part though I don't pay attention to even a quarter of the nfl I used to. Go Bears! :;:smokin

Can't wait. Love me some FF.

Excited to watch Vikings this year. A bit of optimism this year.

Agreed. If Bridgewater can keep getting better like he did last year, and with Peterson well rested and healthy, I'm looking forward to this season more than ever.

I hope they play Peterson in some pre-season games this year. Of course you don't want him to get hurt, but I would imagine he has a little rust to shake off.
