My dad wants to sell a few things and he mentioned that old threshing machine in the pasture. I cant find anything online for a price
unfortunately we didn't take advantage of when scrap prices where actually really good years ago. Now I still have all the junk that I try to work around and occasionally move/drag around. Need to try to find a scrap company to come out and take some of what we have.scrap iron is paying pretty good right now, not sure it would be worth more than that.
There was a guy out of Bismarck that did a farm cleanup. If you just want junk gone, he did it for free and kept the scrap money. It was the best thing we ever did. Who cares about $1000, we have a totally clean farm yard now.unfortunately we didn't take advantage of when scrap prices where actually really good years ago. Yeah that's the thing unfortunately I have to find something closer to the Fargo area. I would clean and haul myself but trying to find the time with all other family stuff these days, take vacation to bust my butt, then even trying to load or tear things apart like an old 20ft high towable grain dryer and two old round bailers, etc. 80-90mi round trip for what maybe $85 per ton or less? By the time I would be done I bet I would burn over half the money in fuel. There was a guy out of Bismarck that did a farm cleanup. LOL I get it. We marked what to keep and let him run free. He didn’t use a torch, had an excavator with a shear. Cut everything up with that. Rolled up grain bins like they were tin foil. No idea what he got and don’t care. I thought I’d never see the day all that crap was gone. Incredibly happy. He traveled 100 miles from Bismarck. Then if I do find someone that would do similar as you guys can I trust them enough to feel like I don't have to babysit things, yes I have some trust issues at times
Yeah I know the owner and a few of the other guys on the dirt side, they are customer's of ours. I keep thinking about talking with them about it one day. probably the best option overall because they have the big equipment to get things done and not be camped out for 12mo.@luvcatchingbass
Used them when I was Railroading, good people and good work.

They do have individual names if that is what you are suggesting but that doesn't mean they are going to give out people's names to just anyone. Another thing you need to understand is that around a show such as Rollag some demonstrators only mess with the equipment they run for that weekend plus a day or two checking things over making sure everything works.Get a hold of Rollog. I would believe they have a list of the people that do the demonstrations.
