What kind of pick up? Do you want a mud terrain or an all terrain tire? How big of rim you thinking?

I've bought them from discount tire direct before and they come mounted balanced with lug nuts, They usually have pretty good deals or rebates and if you call them or type in the chat area you can usually dicker them down especially if you are buying a complete package. I got 275/70/18 bfg at ko2(33.1 overall diameter) and nice wheels delivered to my house for damn near what some local places wanted just for the tires.

I second discount tire. In az they always had the best prices for tires, plus would cover all road hazards. When I moved to ND I got a flat that was unrepairable. I called them to see if they'd ship me one and I could pay to have it installed. They ended up having me get in replaced in Bis and reumbursing me for it.

On a side not I recently bought a new truck with American racing rims. The crome is peeling of after several months. I haven't called them on it yet but am not impressed.

My next tires will be Treadwright Wardens. They have the same tread as a BFG TKO but half the price.
If you like a Mud tire the Treadwright Guarddogs look really nice and are easy on the wallet

Treadwrights are recaps but have great reviews. its at least worth a look.
Best place in town to get mounted is Superior Auto. 55 bucks for whole truck last month when i threw a set of used Nittos on my truck.
Half the price of anywhere else in town

walmart used to do them for 10 bucks a tire a couple years ago mounted and balanced

my brother and dad run treadwrights, for some reason i am still leary of recaps i really don't know why though, those guys have had great luck with them, but they are a really noisy tire (the guard dogs anyways on the old man duramax). He pulls quite a bit and drives a lot of gravel but has got pretty decent life out of them. Brother runs the wardens he is on his second set on a halfton dodge he doesn't pull much but does drive a lot of gravel.

My exact experience!
Got tires and wheels mounted, balanced and shipped to my house with their crazy tread warranty for $175 more than the best deal I could find on tires here in ND.

I ripped a sidewall on one this fall after owning them several years. Gave them a call and they sent me a brand new free tire no questions ask! No picture..nothing! Then the guy calls me back and says, you've owned those tires a couple years they can't be in very good shape. You should really have a match, what if I sent you another at half price and free shipping? Thank you discount tire online!

Been looking at new tires myself right now for my Dodge Ram, 20". I've checked out discounttiredirect. Stupid question I guess.....who will put them on for you if you buy them online? Will most shops agree to just do it even if you've bought them elsewhere? Never gone that route before, but thinking it may be the best option if I can find a place that will put them on for a reasonable price. I live in Fargo if anyone else has ideas. Was thinking 13th Ave Auto over by Menards.

Don't want to hijak the thread Fish, but I can't decide on tires for my 09 Dodge Ram. I want an all terrain tire, but not sure I need a 10 ply. I pull a 24 ft camper a few times per year, drive the normal gravel roads when hunting, but also use it on highways and in town. I've had my eye on the Hankooks Dynapro ATM's, but can't decide. I've had Cooper AT3's and Bridgestone Revo's before. Wanting to try something different. Don't want to pay a ton. Don't need anything too aggressive. Was thinking Hankooks or BF Goodrich Rugged Terrain TA's (discount tire direct). Anyone try to Dick Cepek Trail Country? Found those at Walmart. Someone help me decide!!

You will love the dynapro ATM. go ten ply if budget allows, you wont regret it. The hankooks are quiet on the road but have great all season traction. They last awhile on gravel too. Great all around tire.
Another one to look at is the Nexen RA8. Very close to the Hankook in design. I know a few guys in Minot area that love them on their 1/2 tons
