The teacher tells the class the next day the word of the day would be "fascinate" and they would have to use it in a sentence. At teh end of class the teacher finally calls on Johnny thinking "fascinate" was a pretty innocent word so what could go wrong.

Johnny gets up in front of the class and pulls out a picture of a voluptuous woman in a sheer blouse showing lots of cleavage with no bra. He says "this here is my Aunt Louise. she only buttons seven of the buttons on her blouse...My Uncle Joe says maybe if she would just "fasten eight" I wouldn;t have 14 cousins."

i got banned because he deleted a post i had created about fingering...long time ago but everyone took it out of context and he delted it. i was pretty pissed and let him have it. i drank a couple of jacks and really let him know but he was fine until i really let him know. i was talking abouty catfishing and he thought he knew something morte than i did...he does. i found out that he does know abouty catfishing. i was unsure when i called him to catfish with him on the red he is a red river rat and i caught the biggest catfish of my life with him he sure showed me. i have lived in fargo/west fargo most of my life and met a man that showed me that i didnt know a thing about the river as much as i thouight. he didnt do so well being a moderator but damnit he knows for sure how to fish. my son matt sure likes him too. damnit toby i told you to stop being a pussy,, i know you will laugh at that. come over, these guys wont hatye you bad for long. you are my friend toby whether you know it or not. and yes i did have a couple beers because i earned it. Toby is my friend good night

Okay last post about this whole ban hammer deal over on FBO. Had Davis as the mod over there not posted the following I was done.

You guys are a friendly group today.
We didn't ban people for no reason, we banned people because they had issues with rules. Most were not banned, by the way. Those who were banned were typically warned sometimes multiple times and just didn't care because for some reason they were above the rules that really aren't all that stringent. We really just don't want to see a whole bunch of racist, nude, and profane crap on here. Otherwise post what you want.

Never once posted any "racist crap"

Never once posted any nudity or even scantily clad girls.

Only rarely used the words bullshit damn and hell lately not even those.

I emailed them asking what rules I had broken and have not received any explaination nor any warnings via PM. (actually received one from Davis stating he liked how I responded to quincy)

Apparently despite their claims not much has changed with the mods over there. the truth seems to be a bit scarce.

Maybe, since you had already been banned for a month, you were past the warning step. IDK just a guess as to their rationale.

Rowdie, I will answer your question.

It was in the nickame thread. I simply quoted bobkats statement "it's no big deal" and said that when enough people begin to think banning nicknames, banning this banning that is "no big deal" because of political correctness and apathy instead of being willing ot take a stance on something you are going to see more and more things getting banned.


Funny how they removed that post, no swearing, no "racist crap" , didn;t even refer to LB as LB., didn;t even "target" bobkat, only the "no big deal" attitude of apathy that people have now a days, along with removing joans "banned a member" thread, but everything else I have posted remains.

Like I said Davis sent me a PM where he said he approved of holding a member accountable for the crap they were posting. The 2 week ban was tobeys deal and when I was reinstated they actually explained the whole "mod went crazy" thing Davis mentions in the "where is everybody" thread.


If Joan doesn;t like my opinion on the Constitution or political views or whatever, hey they are the mods, they run the site, they can do what they wish. Send an email saying we don;t like how or what you post and even though you broke none of the listed rules your banned.

But if they are going to post a thread about the "rules" claiming people will be "warned" and made known why they are being given a warning then they should follow what they laid down as the law.

I really would not have even brought this up if Davis would not have posted that bs (racist crap, profanity nudity ect....) that he even got told was not true and then says "post what you want" .

In the "banned member" thread that disappeared, a couple people were asking who got axed and why............and joan nor Davis would answer.

So if THAT was what was getting people banned as they claimed, and I did none of that, who else got banned from there on account of those issues since toby left???

It isn;t that big a deal outside I don;t appreciate it being insinuated I was spouting "racist crap, profanity or posting pics of naked women" when I was not.

I don;t tolerate well people lying about what I have or have not done.

I post on here, once a month on fbo, and read a few other sites.
The guys that make these sites what they are just got run off of fbo, with no regard. I don't see it holding half the audience it once did. Its really to bad. Its like that crazy uncle in the room that no one really wants to get stuck at the dinner table with.

I don't think sites like this struggle for those reasons.

Most outdoorsman websites are horribly built. 9/10 are just bad websites. Even the popular ones.

I agree with you, however, that these sites are what they are because of the people. The people make them great.

I am not hating on other sites. I frequent many myself. I cringe though, when I see a great community simply surviving on a bad platform.

I heard a pro anglers podcast the other day and he said that the fishing industry is always 10 years behind everything else, and I agree. It is a digital age, and yet you see no one do live streaming well. That baffles me.

Yup, the recent activity page on mobile. Click the home button up top, which brings up a navigation page. Then select the "recent activity" button.

i've been meaning to post on this thread for a while. you know what i find amusing? for a couple of years at least, we had people complaining about issues they either saw with the formatting and/or the moderating. a lot of times, the folks complaining were regular members/posters who played a huge role in bringing conversation/hits/views to the site. you know what the response inevitably was? if you don't like it, go start your own site and make your own rules . you know what happened? someone finally took their advise. you know the result? the place is now practically a dead sea and the person who listened to the masses and not just the vocal minority has a thriving site. i still visit and post and am actually sad about how things turned out over there. however, this site seems to have fixed many of the formatting issues the old one had that we harped on and appears to be run better than good. isn't it ironic? don't you think? a little too ironic? ya... i really do think!
