Pantera could whip a crowd into a frenzy

KISS is fun in concert

Iron Maiden was a heck of a good live show too.

Back in my Fargo living days in the 80's a ton a great bands came touring through. I bet I went to well over 50 concerts, and even remember some of them

Music is too situational for me to choose 3 all time greatest. There's music for driving, fishing, traveling with buddies, traveling alone, campfire, formal and informal parties, exercising, and of course, "exercising".

No way to choose 3.

Yea its tough to name three, so many good bands both then and now through the years.
Saw GnR back up the stones back in the late 80s, that was pretty solid.
Now days Volbeat "won back stage passes in Bis, super nice guys" Godsmack, and one of my real favorites Foo Fighters "great live"
And speaking of witch FF showed up at a small county fair in the middle of the day last week in CA as "Chevy Metal"
And proceeded to do 18 covers, how cool is that!

My Sharona and Let there be rock

Here
55,
Your assessment of coolness is precise. Is it just me or do they have a revolving door of members?

Classic rock
1. Pink Floyd
2. Led Zeppelin
3. The Who

Modern Rock
1. Deftones
2. Chevelle
3. Starflyer 59

Other Rock/grunge
1. Alice in Chains
2. Pearl Jam
3. the War on Drugs

These are really just some of my favorites, I like all different kinds of music. Music is about where I am, what I'm doing, and what mood I'm in. I've got 7,000 songs on my Itunes and that doesn't include tons of cd's I haven't burned unto my computer yet..
