Well I was looking at trading my 2010 Tundra Rock Warrior on a 15 SR5
Well Cedric is going to give me same deal I had worked out towards a 16 Tundra Pro addition
plus a couple grand more difference. I am wondering what you Tundra Pro owners think the good and the bad Thanks

Lincoln, kinda...
If it's like the Pro in the 4Runner series, I really liked the idea of the smart 4-wheel drive where the sensors apply brakes to slow the spinning wheel in order to put power to the one with more traction. That and it has prettier rims and a beefed up suspension.

Note, I didn't get the Pro 4Runner because I couldn't get the 3rd row seating.

I believe its a TRD Pro: Exclusive to Tundra TRD Pro are black-bezel headlights, an oversize "TOYOTA" grille, black badging and a unique TRD Pro bed stamp. And with 18-in. black alloy TRD wheels wrapped in 32-in. Michelin LTX AT2 tires, this truck is ready to claw through just about anything.

We amped up Tundra TRD Pro’s front bucket seats with red stitching and accents as well as embroidered TRD Pro badges. Unique TRD Pro carpet floor mats9 and a leather-accented TRD Pro shift knob also feature the TRD logo. Also included are standard Entune™ Audio with Navigation10 and App Suite,11 and a roll-down rear window (CrewMax models).

Tundra’s TRD Performance dual exhaust system is constructed from 304 stainless steel that helps maximize power and also gives the 5.7L V8 an earthshaking roar: a sound so unique it was the only truck to claim a spot on AutoGuide.com’s Best Sounding Engines List. Tundra TRD Pro is also equipped with a heavy-duty ¼-in. aluminum TRD Pro front skid plate, helping to keep crucial components protected so that you can keep going where lesser 4x4s can’t.

Up front, TRD-tuned springs are matched to oversize 2.5-in. remote-reservoir Bilstein[SUP]®[/SUP] shocks for a 2-in. lift. In the rear, we match similarly massive Bilstein[SUP]®[/SUP] shocks to our TRD off-road leaf spring. Built for tough terrain, this suspension maximizes wheel travel and features advanced 3-stage compression dampening to help knock the edge off rough trails.

Tundra TRD Pro Double Cab includes a powerful 5.7L V8 that produces 381 horsepower and 401 lb.-ft. of torque, allowing it to tow up to 10,000 pounds.8 And with a payload capacity of up to 1,630 lbs.12 and a standard Deck Rail System to help secure cargo, this truck lets you take it all with you.

Radar,

I put my name on one of the tundra pro's as well. They are a bit spendier than the standard but have some cool features such as the lift, 18" rims, exhaust set up and now on the 2016's will have leather interior and the expanded fuel cell (38 gallons). This pickup is a bad mofo and will dominate terrain. I am going to trade in the factory tires on purchase and put on the Wrangler M/T kevlar tire in a 305 size. I have that on my rock warrior and it is insane the traction these tires provide.

What color you gonna get?

Too bad Toyota discontinued the supercharger kits this year, friend of mine bought a 2014 TDR Tundra and forked over the extra 6K for the kit and loves it. They had to be dealer installed to retain factory warranty though.

crazy thing is the TRD Pro base price is less than the Limited or Platinum packages...not sure after all the bells and whistles if it books more or not...but a lot of TRD up grades, like skid plate, brakes and sway bar you can get on all the models...

martinslanding,

the msrp for the pro is for a dual cab, not a crew max like the others. The msrp on the crewmax tundra pro is right around $47,400 from what I can tell for 2016.

TRD stands for Toyota Racing Development.

I'll be getting white in a 2016 model. Should be here in middle Sept. I think Toyota's will have a diesel in their 16 model Cummings V8 300 hp and over 500 lbs ft torque I read somewhere doing research on the TRD Pro. Wild I hate the sound of her stun gun that thing scares me. and she lets me carry her nine since my 10mm is to big to carry. when I see chicks walking I find something to criticize so I can stare longer it seems to work sometimes
