Just wondering if anyone with experience with them? Looking at buying one, and just wondering if they are a good fishing boat or if should look for Lund or Crestliner?

The quality isn't as good as lund or crestliner. My buddy has the v17 and the woods warped and the hardware other parts of the interior are not real good.

Have had a Targa 17 wt for 15 years, wood is good, same carpet, same trolling motor, livewell pumps, bilge, etc... ones they are building now are much better than early 2000s. The make lemons like everyone else. People like to point out customer service issues, problems, etc... with the number of boats they sell to folks who should not own them, it does not surprise. Upgrade your motor, they are underpowered with standard motor. Good first boat. I have been shopping and have looked at Lunds and they are nice but not 15 to 20k or more nicer, in my mind.

Deer I bought a new PG V16WT this winter...have had it out 20 times already this year. Only issue was the speedo line came pinched from the factory, dealer unkinked...speedo works fine now. I ordered mine from the factory, as Nodak pointed out above, tend to under power them...the 16ft model can handle a 90hp but usually come with a 60...I compromised and had them put the 75hp motor on...plenty of power on the 16ft. This is the 2nd boat I have owned, had a used bass boat before. I did quite a bit of research before I purchased, read quite a few negative reviews from some owners of older Trackers...but like it was mentioned, lots of Trackers sold. I went new for the warranty just to be safe, but I believe if a boat/motor is taken care of, most will last just fine. Good luck with your purchase whatever you decide!

Late 90s early 2000s had serious issues. I think you should be fine. Look for popped rivets and spot welds on the outside of the hull though.

I have the exact same boat, bought it last year. I really like it. I gave the factory trolling motor away 36lb? if I recall and dropped 80 ipilot on it with two batteries in the front. I agree with maybe bigger motor being nice, but 50 pushes it pretty well. Running wires for new graph and pulling out old ones sucked way more than I thought. It is very good layout for fishing all methods.

Took the boat out to Ashtabula today and first fish in the boat was a nice walleye. Ended with three nice walleyes and lost count of the silver bass we caught. Boat worked great, really happy with it.
