What kind of camera is better? Marcum, Vexilar or Aqua-view. Which model is worth the money?

I just picked up an aqua vu 715c on sale at cabelas last weekend. The price was right and function seemed easy during trial run in the basement. This is a pretty base model unit but had all the functions I needed mainly video output to view on tv in the wheelhouse.

I bought a new Marcum recon 5 this winter. pretty happy with it except it seems like I'm lucky to get about 3 or 4 hours of use before the battery goes dead, even in a warm 65 70 degree fish house...if I leave it in the pickup overnight you pretty much have to give it some time to warm up. It's small and convenient to transport etc. but I think the cold affects the battery life quite a bit because it's lithium. I don't know what a guy gets for hours of use from a camera with the big batteries but I'm guessing more and the cold probably doesn't affect them so much. I used to have a "fish tv" I bought for 100$ that thing was a piece of crap.

I was quite disappointed into he aqua I purchased a few years ago and other cameras I have seen. Was expecting to see a bit further distance (10'-12') or so. Very seldom could I see even 1/2 way to the end of my 8x14. The more snow cover, obviously the worse it gets. Did help me to retrieve (magnet) a set of keys/auto start that found the bottom of lake.

Had a fish scout 2000 for about 2 months and sold, worked great but where I often fish it was worthless, could've dropped it down the same hole to see your jig, too much setup time for me for the 10% you could see, sold it and will stick with the vex28 for my needs

I borrowed a buddys "fish phone" last winter. I think its a vexilar thing. No screen with it, it just connects a wifi to your phone or a tablet. Pretty small and easy to move around the setup.
I ran around for a day and drilled 200-300 holes on different spots just scouting. I think that is all I would want a camera for. It is awesome to be able to find that "spot on a spot". There were several mid lake humps that had rocks/boulders on one side and then mud/sand on the other side.
My dad has a smart TV in his wheel house. He is going to look into the fish phone to see if his TV will pick up that wifi signal and not have to run any extra cords or anything.

The fish phone has a AV plug so you can wire it to a TV like you would a dvd player. I use mine all the time in the wheel house, works really well and battery seems to last forever.

Now I am going to try and rig it up for open water fishing
