well what an idiot... so the ice is thin and this guy is going plenty fast making waves on shit ice and thinks he's gonna make it through there... he had that coming... duh.... at least his stupidity didnt cost anyone life or limb....

Crappy Ice, Going way to fast, bounced over a pressure ridge, and dropped the truck into the pond. Pretty logical series of events in my book.

when the ice is that bad and you have an ice house that i would assume could easily come off with a ranger/4 wheeler maybe even a snow cat possibly.. why on earth would you even contemplate risking that... that ice looks sketchy to walk on near that landing let alone a 30-50K college kid vehicle, cause lets face is avalanche style vehicles arent made for the outdoorsman, thats ridiculous!

The vehicle appears to be seeking an Avalanche of water. He probably had 30 over his limit in the shanty and karma showed up.
