I am wondering how far the stained water goes. I haven't been to Lake Sak for a couple weeks, but it was pretty stained as far east as White Earth.

rivers still chunkin mud...

we put in at beaver last sunday afternoon and fished past white earth - both sides... kept a few, but much tougher than b4...

we either gotta get good at catching them in the mud or drive further east... gonna b a while b4 we see clean water on the west end now i think...

It looked pretty gnarly from my vantage point just east of Tobacco Garden. Between the river and the wind, that section has no chance

I would not call them less than ideal, fishing has been pretty good from the casino south, anywhere from backs of bays to main lake points. Cranks, spinners and slow death have all worked.

i was talking bout 701's question on antelope... i would say it was ideal from lunds to to antelope earlier, just not now with this dirty water... it was easy 1-2 hour limits b4 this mud... and with the road construction by williston and new town now, the casino is a 2 hour drive on shitty roads, or a long run from even white earth on rough water...

WOW, thats a crazy pic, would have never imagined it showed up like that... looks like mud bout to shit house or antelope, and stained to south of shell... think how many yards of dirt it would take to make that chocolate shake...

It will start cleaning up in a few weeks around middle of July if west wind stops blowing. The Yellowstone is already starting to slow down. It sucks because everyone is in the Arm now. I do prefer to fish the River myself as there is not as many idiots.
