Luckily it came slow easy over several days. This will soak into the expansive clay subsoil and carry us into winter. Hoping for a dry fall.

I'm surprised there isn't more settling of foundations in some areas down there. I've seen 3 feet of topsoil and soft wet clay with the consistency of pudding or butter below that.

Will always take the moisture.
Not a huge fan of getting totally dumped on with snow when colder than hell out when you know there isn't much moisture in there.

gaaaaa!!!!! Dew point temperatures will be extremely high in the mid to upper 70s in the afternoon. That’s tropical hell right there.

We're hunkering down later today,this hot humid temps,dew pt already 75deg

Nasty big blow inbound building now,60 to 80mph winds,big ass hail heavy duty boomer prediction...hope its all hype but the low heavy black clouds are a concern right now.

Reed timmer just came through Mobridge up in pollock now. Looks like for Yates is getting hammered. This really builds as it moves east. Radar looks like a hurricane swirl all the way up in to Canada with the rotation

Two tornados on the ground just west of mound city. We lost power here for a little while sounds like north everyone has no power.
Sunny now. It rained hard for a good bit. Gauge says just over 2 inches. It got windy after it rained.
Guessing the concrete we poured at 4 up there is going to be in tough shape
