I think they had the permits ---- everything was in place --- what was missing was nobody went down and greased the tribe council. In the end I don't believe the burial grounds are going to be an issue ---- this thing will battle itself in court --- the lawyers will be the winners. Another thing is the 3 affiliated tribes have been all but silent on this one too. Wondering what their thoughts on this are since a large portion of the product that would be headed down the line would be the tribes own oil.

Now they will try and slide the pipeline north which will make little difference in the whole pollute the water thing but will result in huge delays and pipline rerouting and even more surface areas getting dug up probably causing far more damage to native sites then the current track would have.

It will be interesting to see the government spin this since the Corp has claimed over and over they did it right and even Obama came out and said infrastructure was necessary in response to the protests in Iowa...... although he never did mention Dakota access pipeline by name.
