I think if Chucky Clinton starts trying to ban the so called assault rifles and messing with the 2nd Amendment, she will be in for a big surprise in the next elections for the Senate and House, as for purchases I have gotten a few odds and ends.

Not so much because of Hillary but because the wife wants kids and I know my random spending will be done then so I picked up an M1 garand and an STI Sentinel Premier 1911 in 45 and cranked out 2,000 rounds of 380 and 1500 rounds of 45 on the Dillon.

I've always fawned over the garand.

Get yourself a genuine article from the CMP. Under $800 and shipped to your door.

Never mind, CMP doesn't have much for Garands right now. Keep an eye open.

I'd M1A well before I'd Garand. 20 rounds on tap vs. 8. And not a 30-06 for which I hold and inordinate amount of disdain.

The M1A was an Obama purchase, so already had that one tucked away in the safe. Love them both, the garand looks like it could tell a few stories and the ping of the empty clip is music to my ears. The m1a is waiting to make stories and is a 308 which is nice even if it eats brass and you have to load them kinda weak. Right now anything that says not legal in California on the box is a good purchase.

Kimber full size .45, buckmark .22, 6-7000 rounds of various ammo to fill the safe

Real nice gun. I've been eyeballing the micro9, but sounds like they haven't gotten all the bugs worked out of it or the .380.

I'm still waffling somewhat between the XDS 3.3 and the XD Mod2, 3". Both in 9MM. I do also have a G19 Gen 4.

I also picked up a browning black label 380 at some point this year just because I wanted one. Awesome little pistol and one of the most accurate and easy to shoot ones I own. Just to bad alien gear doesn't make a holster for it yet.

I have the mod2 3" in 9mm. It's my daily carry. Awesome shooter and conceals very well. You won't be disappointed with this one.
