This guy is an idiot. Hope he guy gets nailed for theft. Taking video evidence of the guy fishing with excess lines and giving it to the warden would do more good. Now he's a thief bitching about a poacher.

That "poacher" must have been stone drunk to just sit there while a drone hovered for several minutes over his tip-up and only reacted when it lifted it away.

Those things sound like a swarm of bees at a Rolling Stones concert.

Staged??? :;:huh

He's a good drone pilot, but I think he may be a bigger idiot than the drunk fisherman. The only thing he has any evidence of on the fisherman doing illegal activity of is one too many lines. He is harassing and stealing. A simple call to the game warden would suffice.

Be fun to stage a pirate move by diving at a fisherman sitting on a bucket till he gets up then have camera look in the bucket and fly away .

Would be much fun to do/see this. I would have to say though, might be a better idea to just call the authorities on him - rather than steal his stuff and brag about it on the internet.

The loss of a tip-up isn't much deterrent. I'd say getting him involved with Game and Fish, and possibly the police, would be a bigger slap in the face.

Edit, I see more posts about this now. He could have been planning on picking up his beer cans. He could have been walking home. He could have had a tip-up laying on the ice, but not actually fishing with it. Coulda, woulda, shoulda.

FWIW, my hearing is poor, a drone could sneak up on me, especially if I had my hood up.

Huffranger, don't get any ideas...
