Regular reports of snowmobiles, trucks, and people going through the ice keep my butt puckered and toasty inside. I’ll spend my winter cleaning out the safe to make room for warmer pastimes when spring arrives.

Allen, I have a lot of respect for drilling rig and workover rig crews in weather like this, they are wet all the time

Ditto here, I spent 4 yrs split between workover and drilling rigs. Tough way to make a living that is best for those unattached fellas in their 20s. I tire of BS easy.

Alright you knuckle heads..this is enuff, you got your one day of -20 and the ice should be 4 ft deep....but noooo...you asked for a 2nd day of bs....-27 on the dash at 7 AM this morning.
On the bright side....all the work to redo my water line this fall, hit pay dirt....have not froze up yet, so far..HELL YEAH!! I"m drinking up to that tonight at bowling.....

Isn't this weekend the "free" fishing weekend for residents...no license required? With the freeze up, guessing they'll be folks out...cold or no cold.

We got it dang good up in this next of the woods to have 4 different seasons! Personally, I wouldn't want it any other way.....wait..hold off on the damn wind for crying out loud!
