Went to the musical in Medora this evening. Talked to some people that got caught in the storm that hit Belfield, they are pretty sure that their car is totaled out from baseball sized hail

:( that sucks, its amazing what some plants can recover from though, take pictures now and in 2 weeks, will be interesting to see what happens

That really sucks. I wouldn't give up. It certainly has not been ideal growing conditions this year. A late harvest is better than not.

Not trying to plant anything until Monday. Local plant center is getting my order for more plants ready for pickup on Saturday. Will be my third attempt on some because of roaming cattle and now hail. LB

Lots of people sell plants cheap now on social media might find some great buys. Head up move on don't loose battle.

Sorry to hear. So much work, and so many good eats gone. With the way this summer is going and the forecast, I would think you could still restart beets, lettuce, beans and radishes for sure. Maybe a few others. We were hailed out three years in a row when I was a kid, 79, 80, 81, so I tell my wife every year to be prepared for the loss. She does all the basement greenhouse work and gets pretty attached.

Woke up this morn to thunder and lightning and though not again :mad: :mad: :mad: then everything went left or right ...rockon......rockon......rockon.... Monday I start again. Cool temp will help get things done. LB

Got woke up at about 2 one little red dot on the radar Mobridge got some decent sized hail but don’t know if it caused much damage
