I have some on my property. Never new they were there until I started getting the weeds around the edge of my yard under control. Also found one patch of asparagus. Both are in odd inconvenient places so I doubt they were hand planted.

Anyone know of raspberries growing wild in ND? I know they are hardy enough and figured they might be successful if planted in a fertile area, along rivers/streams or something similar. Would deer leave them alone or would they be grazed to death by hungry animals?

Are you still looking ? We have tons of them up here . I still OU for the grapes.

I dont need any, but I have some raspberries in my yard that Im going to dig out, was thinking about transplanting them at a wildlife refuge or something like that, see if they can survive... I know they grow wild in some states, not sure why they wouldnt here.

My brother has a farm in the Sheyenne River valley and there are many raspberries. They are slightly smaller like the wild strawberries, but also like the wild strawberries they are sweeter. We see them most of the time in the same area as red osier dogwood.

I dug up my raspberries. I don't know what they were, but they spread into the neighbors vacant lot and are producing like crazy. I never see them walk into that lot so I called and told them they had raspberries to eat. They were not that interested and told me to pick them. I hate to admit that I have been doing so many other things I have not picked any. Not busy in winter, but not many raspberries now either.
