My dads Remington Mohawk 600 in .243 was the first gun I shot.
His side by side 12 gauges stevens was the first shotgun.
First guns I bought myself were a Remington 700 12 ga in synthetic stock. And a Savage model 11 in .270 WSM.

1918 Danzing Mauser in 8mm and 12ga Mod 37. I assume now both for Dad's amusement. Sat on the ground and tucked the butt under my arm. Both guns have enough power to nearly back flip an eight year old. When I was nine I was allowed to empty a 20rd mag on full auto from an M-16.
