Tomorrow in DC, there is a hearing. They are trying to set up a podcast link to the protesters that will be in DC, to the camp on the river, so that people can see how many people have gathered. Not that it matters, but it might, there is a big name actor here who hasn't been on social media yet. Not sure if he will speak out and let it be known he is here, but he's a pretty big name who could get national media attention.

I had heard rumors of Dicaprio being down there and that was at the beginning of this bowel movement. I mean protest.

Some googling shows strong support by him. Wouldn't surprise me if it was.

I thought so too at first but it's a different case.

http://www.kfyrtv.com/content/news/...inst-DAPL-protesters-postponed-390962101.html

ASSOCIATED PRESS - A U.S. District Court judge has pushed back a hearing on whether to grant a preliminary injunction to prevent those protesting the Dakota Access Pipeline from interfering from the pipeline's construction.
The hearing, originally scheduled for Thursday, will now take place September 8. The judge extended a restraining order against the protester until that time.
The order suggests he strongly encouraged the two sides to meet in good faith to resolve the issue out of court.
Dakota Access has stopped construction until after lawsuits are completed.

The one today is if construction should be halted on the pipeline.

Lets just hope they don't dig a trench for human waste or disturb any artifacts.
Hell how many law violations can you see just in that pic? I have illegal camping, driving of trail, destruction of public ground, illegal mowing and im sure if you were on foot the list would be a mile long!!!

I find it ironic that their protest is about clean water and look what they are using for drinking water now.

I remember that commercial, I also remember that the Indian just watched the litter at his feet and cried. I don't remember that he picked it up?? I'm old so maybe he picked it up and all the other garbage for miles, then petted his unicorn, and ate candy corn.

Keep America Beautiful - PSA from the 70's. Man, have times changed the last 40 years!!!!! Reservation land seems to be the most littered. Guess Susan Sarandon needs to come drive through before she stands up and protest with the anti-DAPL over in Washington, D.C.. I think we need to have a rally in support of the pipeline and get some media attention. :;:rockit

And some trivia facts about that commercial is the actor in it was Italian if I remember correctly and not even American Indian much like all the movies and other television shows of the era where they used makeup on white folk to portray American Indians lol.

There was as much or more litter in the 70's. It was pretty bad everywhere, people did just throw shit everywhere, like the commercial shows.

Yeah he's the one. He drove/rode through the camp and met a few people, but didn't want his picture taken. Know a guy that had him in is home.

This morning on KX - Good Day Dakota the two anchors asked the reporter who's been at the protest site all seven days what she thinks will happen if the hearing later today doesn't go in SRST's favor. Alicia Ewen (sp?) then said "I don't think these people are going away. I believe they will continue to hamper any construction advancement as much as possible."

Just by coincidence the US Marshal "Incident Response" truck is now parked in front of the Federal Building downtown Bismarck.

Vollmer, do we have any bookies registered on this site?!?!

if the road is still shut down come labor day weekend --- it may be time to do a NDA gun range campout get rready for hunting season blast on the res side of the river. Come roll in from the south - and see how long it takes until they try to remove us. First thing to set up is a gun range, beer coolers and more. I can see it now - a bunch of 15s and a50 cal crackling at the newly formed range.
