can't open videos on here

You tube works fine but posted videos here are a black box that doesn't click, Any advice how to fix it ?

I can watch videos in the video section with no problems but videos posted in threads show up as stationary black box that does nothing when I click on it.

I had this same EXACT issue, the youtube black screen of (near) death.
I tried the disabling hardware acceleration, but that didn't help.
Read through a bunch of forums and here is the solution that fixed the black screen of (near) death for me.
I had been signed into Youtube with my actual Youtube account I created years ago.
So this is what you need to do:
-Sign out of youtube.
-Log in with your GOOGLE account username and password.
BAM! It works!!

No need to mess with plugins and what not.

it's the security program on your home computer davey... if it sees people with cloths on it assumes it's been stolen...
