ND has got to be for the reasons of two of the best college teams in the nation when it comes to football and hockey. We are second behind Oklahoma for producing oil. We have a highway the has giant scrulptures made out of iron.

I love ND, but damn if SD doesn't have insane pheasant hunting. Also I believe way more antelope

Don't forget we rifle hunt every year and for the last 10 I could have shot a buck on both sides of the river. But Fargo has lots of girls that why I lived there in my early 20's it was fun

I feel like they're fairly even. I'd say fishing is a wash. Or maybe SD would get the edge because of the glacial lakes. That's a close one.

For hunting, SD is most definitely better for big game. I mean you can draw what, like 6 buck tags a year??? Bird hunting is very good as well but I think it's tougher to get land access. I'm from NoDak but for what I like to do, I almost feel like SD gets the edge. So much good big game hunting to be had and lots of public on the west side of the state.

I've lived I both, I like both. Bismarck is the best town I've ever lived in though but that could be a stage of life thing and not really sway me one way or another.

Some members of my family think I should move south. I told them sure, to South Dakota.

Lived in ND most of my life. Born here, have farmland here, & have home in Bismarck. Great place to live but the winter's are tearing me up body wise.
SD has the Black Hills and there are many wonderful sites to see and lots to do. Great trail riding if on a bike, motorcycle, atv, or side by side. Also the scenery is nice to enjoy on a bike, motorcycle, car, or anything on wheels. Have met many wonderful people in SD whether from there or from another state. Most people are really friendly and have visited with many ranchers around the Black Hills while out in our Polaris side by side. Sd winter's are usually more mild than ND.
SD doesn't have State income tax.
Both states are pretty friendly but i lean to ND just for the fact of being from here.
