I'm confused, where did this quote come from, your archives? #guywithfilesoneverybody
More importantly, is Wags no longer with us?
Yah but his account appears to be deleted.
I probably shouldn't repeat this but I heard he's in prison for beating up a sconi. Kids gotta a temper I tell ya.
I thought it was from a couple guys kneeling on the shore pitching jigs at his boat ???

I have to state my opinion on fishing this area and it also applies to most fishing situations. I have fished both the bridges and in a boat in that area for about 30 years. As a shore fisherman you are limited to where you are going to fish that is actually productive. Pretty much everybody knows that the best spot is near the bridges because of the channel. With fire line or power pro and a 3/8 jig you can easily cast over 100 feet and most due that are fishing the bridge. If you are in a boat you can fish the whole lake so in my opinion is that you go fish some where else. If you try to stay in the channel in a boat by the bridge you are asking for trouble. So it basically boils down to common sense and experience. If you don't have one or the other in that area you are going to get bitched at. I personally don't fish off the bridges that much anymore up there because of all the dip shits and I have had a few run ins myself. There is plenty of different areas to fish in the fall that you don't have to stand shoulder to shoulder or play bumper boats to catch fish. I never have fished the channels at Devils lake in the spring but I can imagine it is about the same. So basically what I am saying is if you don't have experience in an area try to use some outdoors common sense.
Now just a god damned minute here, why does the guy in the boat have to go somewhere else all the time!? Why does the shore fisherman always get whatever he or she wants? It's not my fault the guy on shore is not in a boat. If the guy on shore is battling boat fishermen then he should be thinking that he is in the right spot. Obviously respect needs to be shown by both parties but if the guy in a boat put it on the trailer parked his boat and trailer next to the guy shore fishing then stood right next to the guy on shore would that be ok? That's exactly what you are saying. Pisses me off that someone in a boat should get his equipment vandalized because shore fishermen believe they "own" the shore and as far out as they can cast! Rant over!
