I wonder if it wasn't Sowhunter?

I'm confused, where did this quote come from, your archives? #guywithfilesoneverybody

More importantly, is Wags no longer with us?

Hunting season Ghost, hunting season!!! It shouldn't be a surprise when any NDA member "Disappears" for a week or two. I suspect the good Wags is enjoying this time of year as much as I do.

I probably shouldn't repeat this but I heard he's in prison for beating up a sconi. Kids gotta a temper I tell ya.

If I remember correctly, the guy had about 3 times his limit on his stringer and Wags LOST IT. Head faked him out of his shorts, threw a left hook, 3 upper cuts, and flurry to the solar plexus!

Velveeta.... minus the ET

After reading that it sounds exactly like the guy that I ran into on Sunday.... if it is him I don't know and I don't care.... seems like a real winner if he's done the same thing in the past... my buddy wanted me to go to shore to face time the guy but I talked him out of it..... That guy was driving a white 90's Chevy pickup if that's what sow hunter drives or could of been sows buddy pickup?

- - - Updated - - -

From what I saw after we went to the north side of the bridge all "that guy" were catching was bull heads.... just like was marking allot of bullheads on my graph.... obviously the walleye were 5 ft from shore and not where these guys were casting at us, as the guys under the bridge on the shore were catching nice ones rite after the other obviously I can't fish ther cause then I'd be within the 100ft mark.... after we loaded up the boat we drove across the bridge and "that guy " was gone, had drove off.

I wish the game and fish could put buoys so the guys on shore or the bridge know where the 100ft mark is but I doubt that will ever happen.... pretty easy for me to curser over to the bridge to see how far I am from it

I have to state my opinion on fishing this area and it also applies to most fishing situations. I have fished both the bridges and in a boat in that area for about 30 years. As a shore fisherman you are limited to where you are going to fish that is actually productive. Pretty much everybody knows that the best spot is near the bridges because of the channel. With fire line or power pro and a 3/8 jig you can easily cast over 100 feet and most due that are fishing the bridge. If you are in a boat you can fish the whole lake so in my opinion is that you go fish some where else. If you try to stay in the channel in a boat by the bridge you are asking for trouble. So it basically boils down to common sense and experience. If you don't have one or the other in that area you are going to get bitched at. I personally don't fish off the bridges that much anymore up there because of all the dip shits and I have had a few run ins myself. There is plenty of different areas to fish in the fall that you don't have to stand shoulder to shoulder or play bumper boats to catch fish. I never have fished the channels at Devils lake in the spring but I can imagine it is about the same. So basically what I am saying is if you don't have experience in an area try to use some outdoors common sense.

You've been fishing for longer than I have been alive and my outdoor common sense isn't so common if you get what I'm saying so thanks for the input and ill take your advice.... thanks again

Now just a god damned minute here, why does the guy in the boat have to go somewhere else all the time!? Why does the shore fisherman always get whatever he or she wants? It's not my fault the guy on shore is not in a boat. If the guy on shore is battling boat fishermen then he should be thinking that he is in the right spot. Obviously respect needs to be shown by both parties but if the guy in a boat put it on the trailer parked his boat and trailer next to the guy shore fishing then stood right next to the guy on shore would that be ok? That's exactly what you are saying. Pisses me off that someone in a boat should get his equipment vandalized because shore fishermen believe they "own" the shore and as far out as they can cast! Rant over!

Wow.... amazingly said.... good rant.... there is some truth to what you said cause I work hard for a living so I can have the boat that I have and provide for my wife and kids, to take time off to take my wife and kids fishing and so on.... so what if that guy did chip the paint on my boat or crack my windshield.... who would get stuck paying for that? Prolly me cause it's a pain in the ass going through the process or trying to get someone to pay for something that they did....
