Been wondering what to expect for snow in my area.....haven't seen an ol' bucket report so I'm not sure what's going on out there!

What's everyone got so far?

Down into the high 40's in San Jose ... 38 years, no snow on the valley floor, but we expect buckets of rain between now and Wednesday. I think wild fires will be done after this.

Not yet. Been dry too long for one storm to make mud slides. Maybe if we get 3 or 4 more like this one is predicted to be then maybe.

No thank you.....I'm sure you feel the same way!

Weather Bucket took a long weekend off for Thanksgiving, had to burn off some PTO before the end of the year or he’d end up forfeiting it. The weekend meteorological vessel, Weather Solo Cup, has been filling in. As you can imagine it’s been amateur hour, a real shit show.

As small as lots are here in CA and as many trees/shrubs that I have planted there is no place that I can put a rain gauge any more that is not obstructed by them. If I go out and get wet I know that it is raining!

That's what I have to put up with to live in the winter here where we DON'T even have frost. Traffic and all that congestion, yes I would have to put up with if I still worked ... do not work ... so don't have to put up with that $h!≠ either.

Believe me, from this weekend until after New Years traffic will be crazy ALL day, EVERY day. Glad I do not have to go out in it other than to get my wine/booze.
