I for one like Valentine's Day. I enjoy doing special things for my bride as she has done and does so much for me every day of my life and also puts up with me too which i know at times is no easy task!

Brussel sprouts have to be an acquired taste, my wife loves them and I call them mini cabbage.

Slice them up and pan fry with in some coconut oil and season with a little seasoning salt. YUM! We eat them weekly. My 1.5 yr old son devours them.

All of my ribeye grease sizzles on the charcoal. Don't think the brussel sprouts would taste very good searing on the charcoal. That being said, I do like and eat brussel sprouts (almost typed BS for shorthand, whew close one.)

I used the cast iron last night with some rosemary but it’s tough to beat a good grilled steak. I have used the cast iron on the grill to get both that flavor and the nice seat that the cast iron gives. That turned out really good

Gotta take the Mrs. to musicals. There's subtext that works in our favor.

Mrs johnr is a peach. She loved my ability to empty the dishwasher, and even called me a hero. I told her she went to far with that title. But I wanna not disappoint, so yup I’m a hero
