In your area,our massive rain mass front just hit here in central mn,i see snow forcasted for dakotas as temps drop,first snow is always a dice roll,first a dusting forcasted then 2 to 4"s,then 6 to 8"s,see it to many times here in the midwest,just in case hung the plow today and sealed paint on both vehicles gettin shit ready.temps in the 20's will turn all this precept white by morning....ugh

Yep it’s a shit show driving in Minot

They pretreated the streets with beet juice this morning, what a waste of money. Then after the streets got icy they sent the sand trucks out about 2 hours to late 🤬

They pretreated the streets with beet juice this morning, what a waste of money. Then after the streets got icy they sent the sand trucks out about 2 hours to late 🤬

I just drove from Stanley to Williston visibility varies from can barley see lines to driving by brail...saw a couple wrecks one wheels up not good drive slow and avoid idiots

Can someone help me understand the beet juice , makes the streets slippery as hell and that junk is all over your vehicle . Dont think I have seen it help

I think the idea is the freeze point of the mixture is lower than 32 so it keeps the streets from turning to ice as fast especially at intersections. Sand works just fine IMO.

Beet juice plays holy hell on metal. Front panel and hitch of my trailer I use to pull wheeler and ice house is rust city from that shit.
