mrs johnr makes a living as a trust/investment officer, and she was still smiling after yesterday. No specifics, but she went back to work this morning, so that's pretty neat.
I am much, much younger than you #guywhoinvestedinthemarket, so I have time for the ups and downs...haha ..oldman

mrs johnr just send me an email stating that iffen we were going to be pulling any money out of our retirement accounts we would have about 13% of our stash gone before we touched it.
The good news is, we are not needing to touch the stash yet. So until Hillary takes it all from me I am just going to ride the lightning.

And sorry about the racism.

I don't have a 401k. It's a 100.25c. It's what happens when you cut a 401k in half twice.

80, 88, 2000, '08 weren't good years to be in the market. 8yr tenure leadership changes aren't kind to the market it seems.

Mine is looking about the same lol, I had a bad feeling this was going to happen and played it safe and did some strategic moving to preserve what I have before this huge bubble pops. In fact it went up again today, it was pay day.:;:thumbsup;:;popcorn

She is all done --- crops, oil, stock market --- next up --- overpriced real estate market in "some" areas --- then were onto 17% unemployment, deals on foreclosed homes, boats, trucks you name it everything will be a fire sale. Why because some babyboomer lowered the interest rates to much and printed money like a drunken sailor. We talk about freedoms ---- the ability to borrow money at a market value -- that freedom doesn't exist --- the risk for borrowing money does not equal the reward -- and that is where she falls and you will never grow and now that you lowered them to much --- you cant raise them as its a double edge more like a triple edge sword when you consider the debt repayment the govt has to make. So live with it were stuck at growth level equal to the current interest rates which are almost zero.
